The rally had in attendance the Yoruba Activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho who most people from Southwest describe as a brave and courageous man that has taken the bull by the horn to demand for a ‘Yoruba Nation’.
Sunday Igboho was welcomed by the crowd who listened to him. He spoke for several hours with a megaphone, creating awareness on the need why every Yoruba indigene in Southwest should embrace Yoruba Nation.
During the rally , an officer of the Department of State Security (DSS) was allegedly caught while trying to take photos of Chief Sunday Igboho’s license plate, supposedly in an attempt to track him down and get him arrested.

He was paraded by some Yoruba Nation comrades during the rally and questioned.
The DSS Officer who gave his name as Mr Seun Olayinka said he is working with the Federal Government under DSS and that he was sent by the government to target Chief Sunday Igboho who is the convener of the Yoruba Nation.
He also confessed that was told to bug Chief Sunday Igboho’s car and also take pictures of his car’s plate number as a way of easy identification.
Sunday Igboho’s media aide, Olayomi Koiki said they have done a security check using a GPS detector to verify if Sunday Igboho’s vehicle was bugged.
He added that their findings have been sent to a forensic expert to analyze the result they got after using a GPS detector, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
