Eko Hot Blog reports that in a move that further intensifies the political drama unfolding in Rivers State, Governor Alex Otti of Abia paid a visit to his counterpart, Siminalayi Fubara, in Port Harcourt.

The visit, captured in a viral video, came as Fubara extended an invitation to Otti for the commissioning of a reconstructed road project.

However, the highlight of the visit was Fubara’s resolute declaration to probe the affairs of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who governed the state for eight years.

“The jungle has matured, and there is no going back on the decision,” Fubara stated, emphasizing his determination to scrutinize Wike’s administration.

In preparation for this probe, the factional House of Assembly led by Victor Oko-Jumbo screened and confirmed the appointment of Dagogo Iboroma (SAN) as the new Attorney-General of the state.
