Mr Masha, a former Vice President of Eko Club International, reached the admirable milestone after a lifetime filled with immeasurable service to humanity.
He founded Eko Club Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, one of 30 chapters of Eko Club International around the world, and was also its first president.
During his reign as president of the diaspora club, the group carried out several charity works that impacted lives back at home in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Mr Masha’s rich legacy at Eko Club Atlanta has endured since he left the reins for other likeminded diasporans.
Eko Club Atlanta’s core mission is to provide humanitarian assistance to the poor, the needy, and the underprivileged in communities in Atlanta and in Lagos.
The club has lived up to these commitments since 2001 when it was created.
As recently as April 24, 2023, Eko Club Atlanta kicked off a Medical Rescue Mission, which ran until April 29, 2023.
The mission provided free medical services for citizens in Lagos and surrounding communities.
Besides making valuable contributions to the continued progress of Eko Club Atlanta, Mr Masha was a key member of the diaspora group that mobilised support for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president-elect of Nigeria.
On this auspicious day, the Management of Eko Hot Blog, leading Lagos-based media company, wishes Mr Masha a happy birthday and many more years on earth devoid of ill health.
Mr Lanre Ojo. President Emeritus, Eko Club International, also paid tribute to the celebrant on his 70th birthday.
Mr Ojo described Mr Masha as a selfless passionate, humble, loving, and kindhearted leader.
“70 years is a true milestone. I wish you abundance of joy, good health and favorable years of more blessings to the glory of Allah. May the good lord continue to enlarge your coast and bless you abundantly,” he wrote in a glowing tribute to the new septuagenarian.
