Overloaded Bus Somersaults Leaving Passengers in Critical Condition on Third Mainland Bridge
It was such a pathetic scene at the Third mainland bridge, on Thursday evening, 3rd of February when a bus loaded with goods and passengers somersaulted leaving the passengers in the bus with a series of injuries.

The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. at the point called Third Axial Road inward Iyana Oworo on the Third Mainland Bridge when the driver of the bus, which was allegedly overloaded, lost control of the vehicle as a result of a burst tyre, causing the vehicle to somersault.
According to an eye witness, “I was coming from Lagos Island and heading towards my office at Ojodu-Berger area when I saw the overturned bus with onlookers gathered around the scene of the incident and I decided to ask an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) what went wrong.
