Oyo Assembly Suspends LG Chairman

• Oyo Assembly has suspended Lateef Adeniran as LG Chairman.

• He was suspended over allegations of misappropriation.

• The suspension was declared by Adebo Ogundoyin, the Honourable Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, during the plenary session held on Tuesday.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended the Chairman of Irepo local government.

The Chairman, Sulaimon Lateef Adeniran Santana, was suspended over allegations of misappropriation.

During the plenary session on Tuesday, the Honourable Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, announced the suspension.

The House also appointed Joel, the Vice Chairman of the Council to take over the administrative activities until the investigation into the allegations against the council chairman is completed.
