Oyo Former LG Chairman, Adedigba Is Dead
Taoreed Jimoh Adedigba, the immediate past Chairman of Akinyele Local Government Area, passed away on Friday.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a close relative, Olamiposi Ishola, confirmed the news, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
Ishola described Adedigba as a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of his constituents.
He said, “Good Night Egbon Mi, Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh.
“During your tenure, you showed me love by reciprocating the love I expressed during your quest to become our council chairman.
“You fought so many battles, including internal and external battles.
“Despite the challenges, you struggled to lay a landmark that will stand the test of time and did your best to the people of Akinyele local government.
“May Allah Accept your Ibadah and pardon your mistakes.”
Despite facing numerous challenges, Adedigba remained committed to his duties and strived to leave a lasting legacy.
In another tragic development, Hon. Hamid Babatunde Eesuola, a former lawmaker representing the Atiba State Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), passed away on Thursday in Ibadan.
Eesuola, who was well-regarded for his contributions to the state’s development, was pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Ibadan at the time of his death.
He had also served as the Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA).
The deaths of these two influential figures have sent shockwaves through the state, with many expressing their condolences to the bereaved families.
