Oyo Commissioner Who Served Under Abiola Ajimobi Dies In Road Accident

A former Commissioner who served under the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Late Abiola Ajimobi is dead.

The Commissioner identified as Honourable Fatai Abimbola Olanrewaju died in a fatal road accident on Friday, July 10, 2020.

The incident occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

A former Special Assistant (Students Matters) to Ajimobi, Mr. Afeez Mobolaji, confirmed the death of the former Commissioner in a post on his Facebook page Friday night.

Mobolaji said, “Rest in peace, Mogaji Abogun”.

Another aide of the immediate past Governor, Mr. Wale Sadeeq also confirmed the death of the former Commissioner.

His remains would be laid to rest on Saturday, 11th of July, 2020 at Idi Oya, Ayegun Oleyo, Ibadan
