Oyo: Makinde Presents Legislative Agenda To 10th House Of Assembly

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde unveiled the legislative agenda for the 10th House of Assembly yesterday.
The governor launched the document after presenting his State of the State address at a special sitting to mark the Assembly’s first anniversary.

He described the legislative agenda as a positive development that will provide direction for the Assembly’s objectives and enhance its activities and programs.
He said: “I am happy to unveil the Legislative Agenda for the 10th House of Assembly. This is a good development for members of the Assembly under the leadership Adebo Ogundoyin. It outlines what the Assembly plans to do and achieve, and how it plans to go about achieving them.
“I commend the Assembly for working in tandem with the agenda of the present administration which is aimed at enhancing the living standards of the people.”
Ogundoyin told the governor that the Legislative Agenda was drafted for the purpose of making people oriented laws, resolutions and effective oversights.
