Oyo Police Detain OPC Members Over The Arrest Of Fulani Warlord Wakili
- Few hours ago, there was jubilation everywhere in the South Western part of Nigeria after a notorious Fulani warlord, Isikilu Wakili was nabbed by men of the Oduduwa People’s Congress (OPC) in Oyo forest.
- A report indicated that Wakili was accused of terrorising the people of Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State and its environs.

According to report, it was gathered that Wakili was arrested on Sunday morning, a week after OPC (faction of the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Oba Gani Adams) arrested his deputy and some other members of his gang.
He was said to have been arrested alongside his four children after they were accused of shooting at the OPC members.
As seen in the video posted by the OPC team, Wakili was seen dressed in a green shirt being taken to the police command in the state.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the Oyo state police command has accused members of the Oduduwa People’s Congress (OPC) over the arrested Iskilu Wakili, a self-acclaimed Fulani warlord, on allegation of being a murderer.
However, it was gathered in a statement by the police spokesman, Gbenga Fadeyi that the OPC members burnt a woman while attempting to arrest the embattled Fulani warlord, Wakili.
Meanwhile, Wakili has been moved to the hospital as a result of his “frail appearance and state of health,” the report confirmed.
As at the time of this report, investigation is ongoing while Wakili and others (OPC members) involved in the arson and murder are being interrogated by the Nigerian police in the state.
