Oyo Govt Seals Off Five Clinics Over Alleged Unprofessional Practices

Oyo state government has reiterated it’s commitments towards ensuring a disease free Oyo state

In a statement issued by oyo state ministry of health, the commissioner of health Dr Bello Bashiru confirmed a suspected cases of coronavirus a UK returnee who is currently on self isolation

Some tests currently being carried out on samples collected from the said individual have been sent to the National Reference Laboratory, LUTH, for South West . The test results are being expected tomorrow.

The commissioner strongly implore all individuals arriving Oyo State and other parts of Nigeria from countries with ongoing covid-19 outbreak to notify the ministry of health on arrival and undergo at least 14 days quarantine before moving on

Dr Bella assured the people of oyo state that all facilities in Oyo state remain on high alert and adequate resources have been deplored to all facilities in case of unforeseen circumstances.

He implored the public to remain calm and take necessary precaution measures and report persons with symptoms of covid-19 to Oyo state ministry of health.
