Ozil Heaps Praise On Okocha After His Move To Fenerbache

Mesut Ozil revealed on his official twitter account that while growing up he wore a jersey with number 10, and Jay Jay Okocha written on it.

Ozil has played for top football clubs like Real Madrid, and Arsenal. He signed for Fernanbache recently after falling out of favor with Arsenal football club.

This is not the first time that he is mentioning Okocha as his role model while growing up. He did so during a question and answer session he held on Twitter,  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

Recall that Jay Jay Okocha played for Fernanbache from 1996 to 1998 where he scored a total of 34 goals out of 62 games played.

Ozil signed to play for Fernanbache recently, and according to his recent tweet he will be wearing the number 67 jersey for the Turkish giants.

The fact that Mesut Ozil considered Jay Jay Okocha sparked up reactions on social media, especially for those Nigerians who consider Okocha as a legend for the Nigerian football team.
