EKO HOT BLOG reports that there was pandemonium at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Thursday evening as staff, party members, and visitors to the National Secretariat scampered for safety over fears that the building was trembling and attempting to collapse.
The pandemonium was said to have taken over the entire building as people took to their heels on Thursday.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident occurred after the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker Committee took ownership of the edifice after several years of paying rent to a widow.
The Committee further named the building after President Muhammadu Buhari last week.
EKO HOT BLOG understands that the APC National Secretariat is situated at 40, Blantyre Street Wuse 11, Abuja.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that a senior party official raised the alarm around 5:10 pm, asking everybody in the building to vacate when it was noticed to be shaking.

Some workers were further said to have confirmed the emergency situation as the doors and windows of their offices were shaking while others claimed no such thing happened in their offices.
One of the security officers, however, revealed that a senior party member raised the alarm and ordered that everybody should vacate the APC National Secretariat.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered the perceived shaking of the building may not be unconnected with the earth-moving equipment used at a construction site beside the Secretariat.
Normalcy had since returned to the APC National Secretariat as some workers have returned to their offices as of the time of filing this report.
