EKOHOTBLOG reports that the residents of Ilupeju-Oshodi in the Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State have been thrown into panic following attacks on the community by suspected cultists.
It was gathered that no fewer than 30 vehicles were vandalised by the cultists on 12 streets in the area.
The streets attacked by the hoodlums include Olateju, Tinuola, Ilupeju, Adegboyega, Iseyin, Shyllon, Idera, Araba, Agunbiade, Fashina, Mustapha, and Akinbode.
A visit to the streets on Wednesday showed the roads being deserted as street gates and shops were under lock and key.
Speaking, a resident, who identified himself only as Balogun, disclosed that the attack was between Aiye and Eiye cultists, adding that the fight started on Monday and involved hoodlums from Ilupeju and Ogunmokun.
He said, “They broke my car windows. They destroyed more than 30 vehicles on the streets. The CDA reported at the Olosan Police Station and the police were here on Tuesday.”
