Passengers Escape Death As Bus Somersaults On Third Mainland Bridge
- Passengers have escaped death as a commercial bus somersaulted on the Third Mainland Bridge.
The occupants of a commercial bus, on Tuesday, escaped death in an accident on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the incident occurred when the driver lost control of the commercial bus, causing it to somersault in the process on Tuesday evening.
It was further learnt that the bus was coming from the Lagos Island inward Oworonshoki and Ogudu when the accident occurred around 4:30 pm at the Adekunle end of the ever-busy bridge.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the driver of the commercial bus, who was on top speed, suddenly lost control as a result of a burst tyre.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the vehicle somersaulted twice before it eventually landed on its roof.
The passengers in the commercial bus were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries as some of them were flung out after the bus somersaulted, while some motorists stopped on the Third Mainland Bridge to render help to the victims.
The occupants of the vehicle were seen on the Third Mainland Bridge shortly after the accident waiting for emergency officials who were said to be on their way to the scene of the accident.
The incident, it was gathered, caused heavy gridlock on the busy highway which extended to the Adekunle end of the bridge.
