Job Overview:

The Label Store is currently recruiting a talented and passionate Pastry Chef (Pizza Maker) to join their team in Surulere, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of pizzas, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring top-quality production and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of pizzas, including custom and specialty options, following recipes.
• Measure and prepare ingredients for pizza and other menu items.
• Follow food safety procedures during preparation, assembly, and presentation.
• Assist in packaging and tagging customer orders.
• Prepare raw donuts for frying and bread for baking.
• Create artisan pastries, bagels, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods daily.
• Bake different bread varieties and fry various donuts according to prescribed recipes.
• Make fresh pastries, including meat pies, rolls, burgers, scotch eggs, and more.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Understand the use of ovens, mixers, scales, and proper storage methods using FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Maintain a par list for inventory management, minimizing waste.
• Complete daily production records for both raw and finished products.
• Ensure the completion of daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all tools and equipment.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: N60,000 – N80,000 per month.
