Eko Hot Blog reports that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has announced Thursday, September 26th, for its second National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in 2024.
The first NEC meeting held on April 18th had sprung issues including the fate of the Acting National Chairman of the party, Amb. Illiya Damagum.
The North Central caucus of the party had argued that a candidate from the zone should be elected to complete the truncated tenure of former Chairman, Dr. Iyiorchia Ayu, who resigned almost two years into his four-year tenure.
