PDP Chieftain Speaks On Obidient Movement Says It’s Not ‘Political’
A PDP chieftain has spoken on the Obidient Movement.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Matthew Iduoriyekemwen has submitted that he doesn’t see the ‘Obidient movement’ as a political movement.
The ‘Obidient movement’ represents a group of Nigerians supporting the presidential ambition of the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi.

However, asked during an interview if he sees the movement as a threat to the political fortunes of the PDP in 2023, Iduoriyekemwen reacted in the negative.
He said the movement is just an expression of people not satisfied with the way things are in the country.
The former Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly who is now a senatorial candidate for his party stated in the Punch interview that he doesn’t believe the emergence of Peter Obi and the Obidient Movement is any point of concern for the PDP in its traditional South-South and South East strongholds.
He said; “I do not see the Obidient Movement as a political movement. I think the movement is an expression of the discontent of the people with the way things are in the country. I can tell you that if a group begins rioting today, people will join the riot without first of all knowing the faces behind it.
