Wike and other G-5 governors met in Lagos on Sunday.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the five aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and other party chieftains are reportedly weighing new options to support the presidential candidates of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
This online media platform learned that the aggrieved governors and some PDP leaders known as the “Integrity Group” weighed the option at a meeting held at the Southern Sun hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

The governors also said the window of reconciliation with the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was still open ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The “Integrity Group” said their demands which include the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Senator Iyiocha Ayu, and the choice of his successor from the South still stand.
According to the governors and the members of the group, they will not participate in the PDP Presidential campaign and support Atiku’s ambition until their demands are met.
The “Integrity Group”, therefore, advised the former Vice President and Ayu to make up their minds and meet their demands before it is too late.
However, according to The Punch, the Integrity Group would soon take a decision on the presidential candidate they intended to support if the reconciliation with Atiku fails.
Already, sources at the meeting said the group had reached a point where a major decision would be taken before the 2023 elections.
Present at the meeting were Governors Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
Others were the former Deputy National Chairman, Olabode George; former governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose; former governor of Ondo, Olusegun Mimiko; and former governor of Cross River, Donald Duke.
