PDP Dismisses Reports Of Adamawa SSG’s Suspension

  • PDP has dismissed reports of Adamawa SSG’s suspension.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has denied suspending Bashiru Ahmad, the Secretary to the State Government from its stakeholders forum in Yola North.

The chairman of the forum, Muhammadu Kawu Wandala made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Yola, the state’s capital.

“The forum wishes to draw the attention of the media, especially social media that issues raised & amplified in the media and attributed to Yola North PDP stakeholders by various platforms is hereby refuted and debunked by Yola North PDP stakeholders forum,” Wandala said.

He explained that the party has neither organised any meeting nor sacked anyone from the forum.

He added that while there was no intention to suspend the SSG, the forum therefore can not request the governor to sideline the SSG.

Wandala further called on the sponsor of the report to confront the SSG personally instead of dragging the forum into it.

He noted that the forum was formed by respected persons in the Yola North Local Government Area of the state.

“Finally the Yola North PDP stakeholders forum request the good people of Jimeta to be wary and conscious of the activities of a certain few who benefit from this generated crisis for their selfish interest,” he added.

The chairman also appreciated and appealed to the people of Yola North to continue to support the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for more developmental projects.
