PDP Gets New Chairman In Ondo State
The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) has elected Fatai Adams as the new Chairman in Ondo State, Ekohotblog report.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP (PDP) is now ready to battle with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in governorship election which is scheduled October, 2020.
The new chairman, who was said to be the immediate PDP Vice Chairman in the state, polled 1,343 votes to defeat his co-contestant, Mr Dennis Alonge-Niyi, who also got 369 votes in the state Congress conducted in Akure, the state capital Of Ondo State.

According to report over 2,000 delegates from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state voted in the election.
However, the Deputy Governor of the State, Agboola Ajayi, shunned the party’s congress.
Agboola Ajayi, shunned the congress as rumours intensified that he was set to dump the party after he missed out on the governorship ticket.
Ekohotblog recall that he dumped the APC for the PDP just a few months ago in search of a party ticket for the guber election.
