PDP hails A’Ibom Gov On Supreme Court Victory
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Peoples Democratic Party, on Thursday, congratulated the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on the judgment of the Supreme Court which upheld his victory in the March 18, 2023 governorship election in the state.
The apex court, on Thursday, dismissed three separate appeals by the All Progressives Congress, Young Progressives Congress, and New Nigerian Peoples Party and their candidates against Eno.

This was after counsel for the parties involved in the matter opted to withdraw the appeals.
Reacting, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, described the judgment as a victory for democracy and the decisive triumph of the will of the people of Akwa Ibom State in their determination to preserve good governance in the state.
The statement read in part, “The spontaneous jubilation across Akwa Ibom State at the news of the judgment of the Supreme Court shows that the verdict is in line with their expressed will, aspiration, and choice at the March 18, 2023 governorship election.
