The Director General of the Bello/Onoja Campaign Organisation, Senator Smart Adeyemi, has said that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was planning havoc and not campaigning for the November 16 Governorship election.
Adeyemi made this known yesterday in Lokoja shortly after a meeting with officials from the British High Commission, who were in the state to assess the level of preparedness for the election.
He said that there is no evidence that the PDP is ready for a free and fair election.
The British delegate was led by the First Secretary, British High Commission, Alistair Godson.
He, however, expressed concern over the inactivity by the opposition parties, particularly the PDP, who he said was not campaigning or engaging the APC ahead of the election.
