EKO HOT BLOG gathered that first set of pictures from the venue of the Peoples Democratic Party’s special convention to choose its presidential candidate for the 2023 elections has emerged online.
Barring any last-minute change, the PDP will hold its presidential primaries on Saturday (today) and Sunday at the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The venue had been inspected by Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa and other members of the national convention planning committee ahead of the planned primaries.

However, the ruling Party APC, has postponed it’s Presidential Primaries, after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Friday that it has extended the deadline for political parties to conduct their primary elections ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, made the confirmation in a terse statement issued at on Saturday morning.
Morka said, “Following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s extension of deadline for the submission of list of candidates by political parties, the All Progressives Congress hereby postpones its special convention for presidential primary from Sunday, 29 – Monday, 30 May, 2020 to Monday, 6 – Wednesday, 8 June, 2022.”
