PDP Sets Up Electoral Committee For Osun Ward Congresses (See List)

• PDP has set up electoral committee for Osun ward congresses.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set up an electoral committee for its ward congresses across Osun State.

This was revealed in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, titled, ‘PDP Sets Up Osun State Ward Congresses Electoral Committee’, on Monday.

He said the seven-man committee would be headed by the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Ologunagba listed the members to include Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, Sen. Ahmed Maccido, Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis, Prince Yandev Amabai, Barr. Mrs. Nellie Ikpi, Dr. Abiye Sekibo.

He said that the committee was formed after the party’s National Working Committee approved their nomination.

According to him, the committee for the Osun Ward Congresses is saddled with the task of electing 3-Man Ad-Hoc Ward Delegates to the Special State Congress.

“The exercise is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, February 23, 2022, to Thursday, February 24, 2022, in all the 332 Wards of Osun State.

“All aspirants, leaders, and critical stakeholders of our Party in Osun State are to take note,” the statement read.
