PDP Wins All Adamawa LG Polls

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has cleared all the 21 local government chairmanship seats in the just concluded elections in Adamawa state.

The PDP claimed a total landslide victory at the local government polls.

The chairman, Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC), Mr. Isa Shetima announced the result of the poll in the state’s capital Yola over the weekend.

Shetima also disclosed that the result of councillors for the 226 wards had been announced at the local government levels.

He added that the commission would give all the elected chairmen their certificates of return on Monday
