EKO HOT BLOG reports that Pelumi Nubi, a Nigerian based in the UK, has achieved a remarkable feat by completing a solo road trip from London to Lagos.
After 68 days on the road, Nubi arrived at the University of Lagos.

The heroic driver recived a warm reception from notable dignitaries, including VC Unilag, Prof Ogunsola, and Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, alongside other government officials.
Starting her journey on January 31st, 2024, Nubi crossed through numerous countries, including France, Spain, Morocco, West Sahara Desert, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ghana, Togo, Benin, before finally arriving in Lagos.
Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa commended Nubi’s resilience, describing her journey as a testament to the unyielding Nigerian spirit.
