The APC candidate in the forthcoming polls, Hon. Adetokunbo Abiru in one of his campaign promises is set to bring government activities down to the society and the people if he wins the polls.
The former MD, Polaris Bank PLC, Mr. Tokunbo Abiru made this known on Saturday 12th September, 2020 in an interactive session with the press. He said that, making the society and people his utmost priorities is second to none in his mind because he knows what the people of the district need and how to impact positively in the lives of the constituents. This and several other reasons gave birth to his aspiration.
He further gave an insight into the plans he has for the youths and the women when he said; “Let’s focus more on the eradication of poverty by engaging our youths in some positive activities that would better their lives and bring peace to our different communities”.
Coming from a private sector, Mr. Abiru proved himself worthy to serve his people without any doubt. He had led many organisations and worked with different private commercial sectors which are helping him in his career and better positioning him above his fellow contestants in the race.
As a young and vibrant man who has willingly submitted himself to the service of his people and also very passionate about giving back to the society he belongs, he is also promising not to close his eyes to the security challenges facing the district and the state at large.
The candidate who has reached the peak of his career as a Business Mogul and a Successful Banker is committed to the service of humanity for a better tomorrow and a rewarding future. Thus, giving youth empowerment and women emancipation the needed attention will not only increase his popularity in the constituency but also assist him to garner enough votes to secure the seat.
