“Peter Obi is not going to fix Nigeria alone. Vote competent people into the National Assembly,” she tweeted.

Speaking further in a YouTube video released shortly before the tweet, Yesufu stressed that Nigerians should not elect “selfish politicians” as lawmakers and then expect positive results if they only vote Peter Obi for president.

She maintained that people should vote for competence, not political parties.

Aisha Yesufu had said during a campaign in Nasarawa State in October that she would hold the former Anambra State governor accountable if he becomes president.

“2023 election is an election for survival. We are not only voting for ourselves, we are also voting for our children and our grandchildren, and the generation yet to come.
