Peter Obi: LP Expresses Confidence Ahead Of Today’s Supreme Court Ruling

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Labour Party (LP) on Wednesday, expressed confidence that the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi will be favoured by the judgment of the Supreme Court tomorrow (Thursday).
This online media platform had earlier reported that the Supreme Court fixed Thursday, to deliver the judgment it reserved on the two appeals that are seeking to nullify the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Atiku and Obi are challenging the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was the valid winner of the presidential election held on February 25.

Supreme court

Speaking ahead of the court judgement, the national legal officer of the Labour Party, Kehinde Edun, said Obi would be declared the winner.

According to Edun, the party has presented its case before the court, adding that they are expecting victory because that is what justice demands.

He added that there would be jubilation everywhere in the country after the court ruling.

Edun said, “We are expecting victory because that is what justice demands; that is what Nigerians want. We will not lose hope. We have presented our case before the court.
