Expressing his dismay, Obi stated that the reported incident is not merely a concern for Osun but for all Nigerians who uphold unity, fairness, and justice.

Furthermore, the former Anambra State governor termed the alleged action as “very distasteful” due to its potential far-reaching effects on national cohesion and development.
As a staunch advocate for a united Nigeria, Obi vehemently opposed any form of discrimination, injustice, or violation of citizens’ rights.
“Every Nigerian, irrespective of their state of origin or place of residence, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect,” Obi emphasized.
Notably, he reminded Nigerians that the constitution guarantees every citizen the right to reside and find livelihood in any part of the country.
While urging all Nigerians to remain calm and vigilant, Obi expressed confidence in the ongoing investigation to unravel the incident.
