Peter Obi Was A Political Pawn Of Wike — Timi Frank Alleges

  • Timi Frank has accused the Labour Party presidential candidate of being an unwitting pawn in Wike’s political game.

  • He said Wike’s actions are what he considers capable of igniting a crisis between the North and South of Nigeria.

  • As seen recently, the Rivers State governor went on a tirade on Atiku after losing out in the Presidential bid.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has accused the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, of using the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a pawn in the 2023 presidential election.

In a statement released on Monday, Frank claimed that Wike’s actions could ignite a crisis between the Northern and Southern parts of Nigeria.

EDITOR’S PICKS

Frank called on the presidency and other leaders of thought across the country to call the governor to order following Wike’s continuous taunts against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, over his loss in the 2023 presidential election.

Frank alleged that Peter Obi was not genuinely in the race to win the presidency but was used by forces known to Wike to play a spoiler’s game against the PDP. He quoted Wike as reportedly saying that Obi was his hero of the just concluded presidential election. However, he openly supported the presidency of the All Progressives Congress.

Frank accused Wike of celebrating a fraudulent and controversial presidential election victory as if the South had just defeated the North and therefore called for him to be called to order before he ignites a political crisis between the North and South.

Frank stated, “It has been on record that since Wike lost his presidential bid to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who is more experienced than him, the bitter Rivers State Governor had put on the garment of hate against the North while hiding under the toga of Southern presidency.”
