EKO HOT BLOG reports that Comedian Basketmouth has sparked controversy on social media after a post that appears to be a subtle dig at Peter Okoye of the famous music duo P-Square.
The post was made in response to a statement made by Peter Okoye during a recent feud with Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti.
Peter Okoye had claimed that despite his father being a “nobody,” he had managed to make a name for himself and then challenged Seun Kuti to drop his surname and see if anyone would know him.

In response, Basketmouth wrote on Twitter: “If our fathers never existed, we wouldn’t be here. Nobody is self-made.” He added, “I’m just saying.”
The comedian’s post received widespread criticism from many of his followers, who accused him of not comprehending the message Peter Okoye was trying to convey.
