EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian singer and songwriter, Peter Okoye, has shared his thoughts on the divorce saga of PSG defender, Achraf Hakimi, and his wife, Hiba Abouk.
The musician, who is popularly known as Mr. P, took to Twitter to express his surprise at the number of men rejoicing over the story of the divorce.
According to unverified rumours, Abouk demanded more than half of Hakimi’s belongings during the divorce process. However, Hakimi, who earns €1 million monthly from PSG, allegedly claimed that all his property is registered under his mother’s name.

Reacting to the news, Peter Okoye questioned the mindset of men who are celebrating the outcome of the divorce.
He asked if they are expecting Hakimi’s wife to suffer after the divorce, and advised that men should not marry if they cannot trust their wives.
He also reminded men that their mother was once someone’s wife before becoming a mother, and suggested that they should marry their mothers if they cannot trust their wives.
He wrote, “Pls Marry your Mother! EOS. Make those supposed Hakims twitter warriors have that kind of man as inlaw. You go see how dem go humble dem sef! Ndi ala! Make all of una go marry una Mama!… no time! Since Hakimi sense wan ki una”.

Peter Okoye’s comments sparked a debate on social media, with some supporting his views while others criticised him for suggesting that men should marry their mothers. However, the singer stood by his opinion and maintained that trust is essential in any relationship, especially marriage.
Editor’s Note: It’s important to mention to readers that the story making the rounds about Hakimi is unconfirmed and unverified. The story emanated from social media accounts that did not cite any court document. Although it is true that Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk, has initiated divorce proceedings against the PSG player, there is no evidence that Hakimi put all his assets in his mother’s name as being reported by some media outlets. Eko Hot Blog will report all the facts as soon as they emerge.
