EKO HOT BLOG reports that Sonia Patterson, a well-known philanthropist and founder of the Sonia Patterson Cares Foundation, visited Nigeria recently, spreading joy and hope to many individuals in need. Her arrival at the Muritala Mohammed Airport Ikeja, Lagos was greeted with great enthusiasm as beneficiaries, volunteers of her foundation, and members of the press welcomed her in grand style.
During an interview with the press, Patterson expressed her love for the Nigerian weather and hospitality. She shared her plans to extend her charitable efforts to needy children on the streets of Lagos, the elderly, and orphanages.

Additionally, she revealed that she intended to visit Asaba in Delta State to execute some of her philanthropic projects and also feature in a movie she produced titled Cheaters Paradise – The Web of Deceit Series.
The movie features prominent actors such as Uche Odoputa, Emeka Maicon, and Sharon Ifedi. The Cheaters Paradise Ent. & Int. Awards, scheduled for September 23rd, 2023, at Ochid Hotel, Asaba, Nigeria.
Patterson was accompanied by her daughter, Keisha Williams, and together they spent two weeks in Nigeria, bringing smiles to the faces of many children and the elderly. During her visit, she was presented with an award of appreciation by Mr. Emeka Amakaze, and popular Nigerian movie actor John Batiki (Shaggy Bee) for her philanthropic personality and the impact she has made in rescuing many Nigerians from poverty.
One of the highlights of Patterson’s visit was her reunion with a young boy named Blessed, whom she had previously adopted. Patterson was delighted to see the positive impact she had made in the young boy’s life and hoped to see him grow into a fine and successful young man who would carry on her legacy of charity.
Patterson also took the time to experience Nigeria’s entertainment industry, attending Nigerian parties, visiting fun centers such as beaches, and touring popular tourist attractions in Lagos and Asaba.
She expressed her gratitude to her staff and volunteers, most notably Mr. Rica Oyama Missang, who has been the backbone of the foundation, and Mr. Uchenna Aliri, Executive Secretary and PA of the Sonia Patterson Cares Foundation, for their efforts in making her visit a success.

As her visit to Nigeria came to an end, Patterson shared her intention to continue her charitable efforts in Ghana before returning to Nigeria next year to execute more philanthropic projects. She affirmed her commitment to continuing her charity work throughout her lifetime.
