Italy-bound Abdulrazaki cracked with 101 wraps of Heroin at Lagos Airport
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) caught Inusa Abdulrazaki, a suspected drug trafficker on his way to Italy, with 101 wraps of Heroin.
On November 19, he was apprehended at Gate C of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos, while flying to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines.
In a statement released on Monday, NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi stated the Heroin being shipped by the defendant weighed 1.3 kilogrammes.
He said the Etsako, Edo State born Abdulrazaki concealed the drugs inside cassava flour popularly called gari.
Babafemi added that the following day, Saturday, 20th Nov, NDLEA operatives at the airport during a routine cargo search at NAHCO export shed intercepted an abandoned consignment of khat 17.90kg.
He said while commending the officers and men of the MMIA command for their vigilance and steadfastness, Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa urged them to always stay two steps ahead of the drug cartels.
