EKO HOT BLOG reports that a petroleum tanker caught fire at mile 2 of Otto Wharf in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency claims that the organization responded to distress calls at the mentioned site by activating its response plan.
Officials and locals were seen attempting to contain the blaze, which had spread rapidly and caused panic in the neighborhood.
“Upon arrival at the scene by the agency response team, a fire outbreak from a fuel tanker and drums was encountered.
It added that emergency responders “are currently battling the inferno to contain it.”
