PHOTOS: BBNaija Star Mike Edwards Wins Bronze Medal At The Ongoing National Sport Festival
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Mike Edwards won a bronze medal at ongoing 20th National Sports Festival in Edo State.
The London based television reality star represented oil rich nation Rivers state in the high jump event in the competition.
Despite not being among the favorites, Mike Edwards was able to finish third in the final of the high jump event held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Sunday, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Finishing third earned him a bronze medal which is not a bad outing from an athlete who is just competing in the games for the first time.
It would be recalled that Mike Edwards narrowly missed out on qualifications for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics games last week.
Apart from Sports, Mike Edwards is also a major brand ambassador for Budweiser, Guinness and other notable brands.
Mike was the first runner up behind Mercy Eke in the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show.
