A Toyota Avalon CAL-466GA car in the canal
Eko Hot Blog reports that a Toyota Avalon CAL-466GA car has plunged into a canal along the Constain Roundabout inward Eko Bridge axis in Lagos State.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon but the vehicle was recovered by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) later in the evening.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the car crashed into the canal due to a brake failure.

Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said it suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to “over speeding.”
The governor’s media aide also disclosed that occupants of the vehicle are receiving treatment in a nearby private hospital.

It was not immediately the extent of their injuries but there is no indication of a fatality.
