PHOTOS: El-Rufai, Ribadu, Others Visit Atiku to Request Daughter’s Hand in Marriage

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, hosted a distinguished delegation at his Asokoro residence yesterday.

The delegation, led by Nasiru El-Rufai, former Governor of Kaduna State, included family members of Kashim Imam who came to formally request the hand of Atiku’s daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

The visit was reported in a statement issued on Wednesday by AbdulRasheed Shehu, Atiku Abubakar’s Special Assistant (Broadcast Media).

Notable attendees included Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, as well as former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State.

The statement said, “His Excellency Atiku Abubakar welcomed the family of Kashim Imam, led by former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, to his Asokoro residence.

“The delegation came to formally request the hand of his daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.

“Prominent dignitaries at the event include the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State among others.
