Earlier this week, tragic news filtered in that a former Nigerian beauty queen by the name Najeebat Sule, based in the U.S was shot dead while sitting in her car in front of her family’s home in Philadelphia.
As earlier reported by EKO HOT BLOG, 24 year-old Najeebat was killed on March 12 by a yet to be identified shooter who shot her multiple times at point blank range only a few metres away from her residence, Block 8800, Frankford Avenue.
According to reports, Miss Sule had only recently earned a Master’s degree in public health from West Chester University and was pursuing a doctorate.
In 2019, Naajebat was crowned second runner-up at the Miss Nigeria International pageant.
Her father, who briefly caught a glimse of the shooter before he fled the scene, has cried out that the local authorities are yet to gain any traction on the assassin behind his daughter’s brutal murder.
