PHOTOS: Lagos-born WWE Wrestler Becomes Second Nigerian Wrestler To Win WWE Title
History was made on the first night of the 37th edition of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) annual event tagged “WrestleMania” .
WrestleMania 37 is the ongoing 37th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their Raw and SmackDown brand divisions.
A new chapter was opened inside the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, and like WrestleMania 36, it would be a two-night event, held on April 10 and 11, 2021.
Lagos-born wrestler Omos was in action just like WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, The Miz, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, Xavier Woods and Latin-American singer Bad Bunny.
Jordan Omogbehin challenged 11-time WWE tag team champions popularly known as “The New Day” in an explosive WWE RAW Tag Team Championship match.
However, the first match for the tallest current wrestler in WWE ended with a victory as he alongside AJ Styles became the new WWE RAW Tag team champions, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The 27-year-old is the second Nigerian to win a WWE title after Benue state muscular figure Apollo Crews captured the WWE United State championship in 2020.
