Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government, on Saturday, intensified its clampdown on establishments violating environmental laws in the state.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, revealed that officials of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) sealed some religious centres and nightclubs in the state over noise pollution.
According to Wahab, the operation led by the LASEPA General Manager, Tunde Ajayi, sealed religious centres and other establishments due to concerns regarding noise pollution and other environmental infractions.
The affected establishments include Ansar-Ud-deen, Restoration Centre Global Church, Bloomgrey Event, Club Hoxegen, Starrex Luxury Apartment in Gbagada, and Bayrock Lifestyle in Lekki Phase 1.
