EKO HOT BLOG could recall that there was a clash between some Okada riders and NURTW thugs in the Iyana Oba area of Lagos state yesterday.

The said fight which lasted for hours witnessed the destruction of many properties belonging to many Nigerians.

After this occurred, some policemen also clashed with some Okada riders who were flaunting Lagos state law on the okada ban.

The police officers were seen stopping the okada riders and asking them to leave the major road along Lekki and they refused. The situation was however brought to an end after police took drastic action against those flaunting Lagos state law.

Today, the Lagos state police taskforce team has taken a drastic measure in bringing to an end any further reoccurrence of such in any part of Lagos state again.

The Lagos state police took to the Lekki area of Lagos state to arrest all Okada riders spotted on the express today. They did this as a way of implementing existing laws of the state.

These pictures of the scenario have however attracted much attention as many people are reacting to them. The majority thinks that this is indeed wrong.

Others argued that the said police officers are doing the right thing. They however urged them to send all the okada riders out of the major roads soon
