Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has conducted a nighttime enforcement operation, leading to the closure and sealing off Silk Club at 190 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The agency made the disclosure in a statement on Saturday.
LASEPA said the move followed the directive of the Lagos Commissioner for Environment & Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, to address noise pollution concerns in the state.
“The operation was led by Mr. Kayode Bello, Director of Monitoring Compliance and Enforcement, and his team,” the agency wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
