Before her death, she had dropped a tweet on her handle seeking for a job in order to fend for herself. The tweet consequently garnered several replies, the most telling of those replies was that of her eventual murderer.

Later on, it was disclosed by her friend that she had not been able to reach Ini, who was invited for a job interview in a certain location in Uyo.
The friend of the deceased disclosed the name of the guy as Akpan Frank and address where Ini went which was around Oron road in Uyo. There, late Ini met her death as she was murdered by the person who invited her for the interview.
