  • The past few days have being a period of unrest in Israel and Palestine
  • Both countries are currently engaging each other in a serious battle, which, if not de-escalated within the coming days might lead to a full-blown war.

It must be brought to attention that Gaza strip is the most affected place so far in the course of the battle, Gaza is a self-governing Palestinian territory with a distinct ruler.

The Hamas political fraction has been controlling Gaza since 2007 unlike the rest of the country that is under president Mr. Mahmoud Abbas.

Many International Organizations and world leaders are calling on the Government of Isreal to stop the serial bombing of Gaza and allow peace to reign, as many lives and properties have already been lost in the process, EKO HOT BLOG   gathered.

It must be emphasized that the nation of Isreal is not fighting against the nation of Palestine as a whole, but rather they are fighting against the Hamas group who have their strong base in Gaza.

On the Israeli front, their prime minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu calls the shots and he is a very outspoken and determined man, while on the side of the Hamas/Palestine Yahya Sinwar and Ismael Haniyeh are both responsible for leading their charges.

Yahya is the incumbent ruler of the Gaza strip after taking over from Ismael In 2017, he has been designated as a wanted man by the United States of America and currently, he is the second most powerful man in Hamas.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Ismael Haniyah is currently the incumbent head of the Hamas political bureau and also the most powerful man within the organization, both men are citizens of Palestine.
