The newly constructed and commissioned dual carriage-way Flyover Bridge across the Agege Pen Cinema may soon turn to nightmare for road users.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu commissioned the 1.4km Dual Carriageway Flyover Bridge in Pen Cinema Junction, Agege earlier this month amidst fanfare which attracted the who is who in Lagos political circle.

Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was a special guest at the event, said the project was a needed catalyst for the resuscitation of economic activities around the area.

The event which court controversies and public outcry amongst Lagosians who complained about the crowd and non-adherence to covid-19 protocol.

The 1.4km road stretch was seen to have been flooded going by a picture taken by a resident after a slight rainfall.

Sadly, the road is fast turning into a source of worry ahead of the rainy season.
