PHOTOS: Nigerian Entertainers Who Sadly Passed Away As A Result Of Kidney Failure

  • Kidney failure is a horrible disease that nobody should ever have to go through.
  • Unfortunately, we have lost quite a number of talented entertainers to the hands of kidney failure.

In this article, EKO HOT BLOG is  looking at some Nigerian entertainers who sadly passed away after their battle with kidney failure.

(1.)      Ada Jesus

The death of Ada is one that we are all still recovering from. Ada Jesus, born as Mmesoma Mercy Obi struggled with kidney disease before she passed away on the 21st of April 2021.

She died just two days after celebrating her birthday. Ada Jesus was a talented young comedienne who would have gotten to the peak of her career if not for this sickness.

The news of her sickness came to the public light after Indaboski and Rita Edochie initially refused to forgive her for some comments she made about them. After much persuasion, they  forgave Ada Jesus.

Ada Jesus also got financial help from well-meaning Nigerians like Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah. Ada Jesus was 22 years old when she passed away.

(2.)      Muna Obiekwe

Muna was a talented actor who was snatched away by the cold hands of death. Muna was only 34 years old when he passed away.

He died on the 18th of January 2015 after battling Kidney disease. His death was indeed a sad one and it was a blow to the Nigerian film industry.

The governor of Abia state alongside Rita Edochie and Chioma Okoye had started a campaign to help save his life. The campaign raised N3 million and the Abia state government set aside N10 million for his treatment.
