One man’s meat is another man’s poison, an adage says and this is the case of an Ibibio man from Ikotabasi, Uyo in Akwa-Ibom state identified as Baptist Amah who shared his frog stew recipe.
Taking to Facebook, Amah who described himself as a waterside chef noted that frog meat also known as ‘Ntikun’ cures impotency in a man, heals a damaged heart, overcomes stroke, cures diabetes and cancer, source of animal protein.

While describing the delicacy as a special one, he said the particular specie of the poached frog is edible and were eaten by his Great Grandfathers.
He also invited everyone to have a taste as the meat would heal injuries quickly, prevent bronchitis and asthma because it has antibiotics in it.
