PHOTOS: Odumakin’s Burial Rites Commence In Lagos
- The burial rites for the Human Rights Activist and Spokesman of the Pan-Yoruba Socio-Cultural group, Yinka Odumakin, is underway at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The burial rites for the Human Rights Activist and Spokesman of the Pan-Yoruba Socio-Cultural group, Yinka Odumakin, is underway at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Dignitaries at the event include the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; friends, family members, activists, among others.
The family of the late activist and Afenifere spokesman had earlier announced the order of his funeral rites.
According to the wife of the late activist, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin, the rites would span three days – starting from Thursday, April 22 through Friday 23 and Saturday 24, 2021.

Yinka Odumakin died on April 2 after battling respiratory problems occasioned by COVID-19 complications.
The late activist and Afenifere spokesman died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Covid Isolation Centre.
